St James School students who live out of town are eligible to use the School Bus Service administered by the Department of Education (DECD).
Bus services are available to Appila/Caltowie, Washpool, Canowie/Belalie North, Whyte Yarcowie and Mannanarie .
All children travelling on school buses are expected to adhere to the safety guidelines set by St James School (sent out at the beginning of the school year) and the Department of Education. These guidelines are also available here. Out of courtesy to the bus drivers, please advise them if students are not travelling on the bus on any given day.
All questions relating to the bus services e.g. timetables, bus stops and application forms to travel on the school bus should be directed to Jamestown Community School (telephone 8664 2700). All questions relating to student behaviour on buses are to be directed to St James School Principal.
