Bulletin Week 6, Term 2
Welcome to our Week 6 Parent Bulletin! We have some exciting updates and events to share with you.
Senior Constables Ashlee Bowman and Richard Osborn visited our school today and had a wonderful session with our Reception to Year 2 students. The students had the opportunity to learn about the important work of a police officer. It was an engaging and informative session, allowing our young learners to gain a better understanding of law and order. Our Year 3 to Year 6 students also had the opportunity to attend a presentation on cyber safety. This session covered crucial topics such as safe internet usage and responsible behavior on social media platforms. We believe that equipping our students with knowledge about online safety is essential in today's digital age. We are confident that this presentation will help our students navigate the online world with confidence and caution. We greatly appreciate Senior Constables Ashlee Bowman and Richard Osborn taking the time to visit our school and share their expertise.
The Year 5/6 Food Groups Lunch Orders are continuing this week as part of their weekly fundraisers. This time, we are offering Squash Dogs and Cordial for ordering. Please look out for the paper order form, which will be sent home today. To ensure your child's order is included, kindly return the form to the school by Wednesday, June 7th. The delicious Squash Dogs and refreshing Cordial will be served this Friday, June 9th.
Our prayers and thoughts go to the Ackland / Cunningham family, at the recent passing of Shirley Ackland, Grandmother to Kerran and Great Grandma to Blake in Reception.

All Year 6 students are invited to attend YCS with Sr. Kerry tomorrow at 3:15pm in the Church Hall. Students from JCS in Year 7, 8 and 9 are also welcome to attend. YCS stands for Young Catholic Students and it provides opportunities for senior primary students in Year 6 to maintain strong links with the Sisters of St. Joseph. Sr Kerry Keenan rsj who is based at Clare visits us regularly and runs YCS.
