Bulletin Week 8, Term 2

Welcome to the Week 8 Parent Bulletin. This Thursday our Mid Year Reception Students begin their Transition Visits. Their first visit will be for the morning until the end of recess. The second visit is until the end of lunch and the final visit in Week 10 will be for the whole day. We look forward to welcoming them.

Beginning next term, the parent bulletin will be replaced with a reminder sms of the events that are occurring during the week. Fortnighly newsletters will continue on the odd weeks, eg. Week 1, 3, 5, 7 & 9.

Year 1/2 Class Big Battery Excursion

The Year 1/2 Class will attend the Hornsdale “Big Battery” Open Day this Thursday 22nd June. Parents of this class should have received an online excursion permission note via Operoo to complete last week. Parent volunteers are welcome to join us on this excursion.

Year 3/4 Camp

The students and staff in the Year 3/4 Class are excited about the upcoming camp to Glenhaven Adventure Park, which is located near Stockport. This overnight camp takes place this Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd June. We look forward to hearing about their tales of adventure.

Food Group Lunch Orders

There are two weeks left for the Year 5/6 Food Group Lunch Orders. The next order day is this Friday 23rd June and it is Sausages by Ellie, Jorja, Archer and Ethan. Order forms will be sent home today.

Next week on Thursday 29th June orders will be available for Spaghetti Bolognaise, which will be prepared by Hazel, Alayla and Eddie.

School Closure 

The next school closure day will take place on the last day of Term 2, Friday 7th July.

Parent Satisfaction Survey

Last week, each family received a notification from Operoo containing a parent satisfaction survey, along with a hard copy of the survey which was sent home. This survey forms part of the school's ongoing improvement agenda. Each family is invited to provide positive feed back or suggestions for improvement. I ask that each family completes this three minute survey by this Friday the 23rd June.
